Activities

The research activities of this department are as follows- stress and coping among PUC & Nursing students, prevention of suicidal behavior, depression among students, mothers and old age problems etc. MR children, epilepsy, alcoholisms, drug addiction, occupational stress, schizophrenia, etc.

Scope of Course

A student after obtaining 2 years M.Sc Nursing programme / Post graduate Nursing certificate can take part in various research activities related to caring of human kind. The Registered M.Sc Nurse will be having opportunities to work as a Lecturer, Associate Professor at various educational institutions with specialization like Medical surgical nursing, Community Health Nursing, OBG Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing & Pediatric Nursing.
They will be having opportunity to guide the UG & PG student to conduct research activities.
They can work or individual nurse practitioner & nurse clinician at respective specialties.
